Policies and Procedures

• A pass is required to enter the Media Center during regular school hours
• Students must sign in
• Each student may have 5 books checked out at one time
• The check-out period is two weeks, with renewal if necessary
• Overdue fines are five cents a day
• Students who are working on school assignments will be allowed free black & white printouts. Teachers are requested to bring paper if the entire class is printing, and to establish reasonable restrictions (@five pages per student). Color printouts and non-school related printing is $.20/page.
• The media center catalog is now available off campus at: http://destiny.escambia.k12.fl.us
  Students can access their circulation record to see what they have checked out or if they have fines or overdues by logging in with their student number and six-digit birth date. They can also create personal lists of resources or favorite books.
